In 2002, Johann Holzmann founded the workshop at Scharten 14 in Werfen. Over the years it grew, and it grew where it stood: it is still in the place where it was founded.

In 2022, his son Johannes Holzmann took over and has been running the business in its second generation ever since. He brings his own ideas about where it should go, and holds to the same principles his father began with.
